Update- management was wonderful after they sat us down. Took wonderful care of us and treated us with drinks and desert for the situation. Thank you to the manager Ethan for going out of your way ! — The service is not what you expect. We dine out a lot and this was an experience.. we called for a table of 14 literally 7 min till we got there. They said no wait at all. We show up the restaurant is at 1/4 capacity and seats empty everywhere. She tells me 1 hour and half wait. I told her the situation and just rolled her eyes and said sorry do you want to leave or stay and wait. As we are waiting people walking in check in and get a table with in 5-10 min. Manager needs to look in to this… Wish this was resolved on the spot.
My favorite place on this whole earth. I’m obsessed with this spot, easily my favorite place to get xiao long baos, the chocolate ones are the perfect post lunch/dinner sweet treat. The aesthetic of this place is so nice and fancy and you really just feel very nice there. Reminds me of a Sade type of vibe. The service is good, but the food is on top for sure. their wontons are also super yummy with the green beans on the side.
Din Tai Fung has been a family favorite of ours for a long time! This however was our first time at the Pioneer Place location. Our experience did not disappoint! The food came out fresh, hot and fast! The staff were very friendly and attentive! I really enjoyed the Sweet & Sour Short Ribs and the Mango Shaved Snow! Also, the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays! I couldn’t resist leaving without a set of the adorable new ornaments! We will be back again soon!
Food was great and came out pretty quickly! We felt a little forgotten by our server, but I think it was break time for a couple people so they were doing their best. No biggie. We enjoyed everything we tried, but don’t love dining in a mall.
This location is much better than the one in Vegas. We arrived right when they opened and were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the food came out quickly. The restaurant was nice and quiet, probably because it wasn’t full on a Monday afternoon. I’m so glad we got to try this place before flying back home.
This place is a famous restaurant from Taiwan.???????? They have plenty of vegan options, and it is easy to find them because the menu has little V marks.The price is a bit high for the portion, but the atmosphere is lovely and the food is so good.It does not feel Americanized at all. I honestly felt like I was in Taiwan again.The Red Bean Sticky Rice Wrap was chewy with sweet red bean inside and became my favorite.
Din Tai Fung is amazing! I’ve only had it once before in Seattle and it was just as good this time. The string beans with garlic are incredible — I could honestly eat three plates of them. Also had the shrimp noodles and kurobuta pork buns, everything was super fresh and tasty. Definitely try the honey lemonade too, I could drink so many of those. Highly recommend!
Beautiful atmosphere so worth the wait to be seated. Some days they will delay opening so please be patient with the staff! The pioneer property has been having Natural Gas issues senes remodeling other parts of the mall. The manger was really nice in explaining that to us had a blast! The flavor of the dumplings and ribs was fantastic we will be back soon thanks to everyone for an exceptional evening
